COURTESY POSTS

Courtesy posts are pets that are not in the care of SCT Retrievers but are being posted for individuals to help find them new homes more quickly.  Please contact the individual directly for more information.

Nanuq

Nanuq is a 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute & Siberian Husky. Nanuq and her sister, Pepper, have started fighting with each other and need to be rehomed separately to prevent serious injury. They are both great with people but not with any other animals as they both have a strong prey drive.

They are very smart and independent, and will thrive with daily activity like long walks, runs, or hikes. And Nanuq also likes to play fetch. They bark only when they want to communicate their needs. Nanuq ‘talks’. They enjoy human company and sleep through the night.

They are spayed, microchipped and vaccines are current.

We hope to find new homes for them where they can be ‘free’ to be themselves again without living with the anxiety and tension that something could trigger them to fight with each other. They are currently kept separated by taking turns being in their crates.
